RELAY is a monthly meeting of musicians and media artists who understand media in everyday life as instruments of playing. Here, ¡®playing¡¯ refers not only to the conventional meaning of activity with the musical instruments, but also to the generalized meaning including playing a game, or audio-video experimentations and performances. Based on these conceptions, the players convene every month for collaborative improvisation and test the aesthetic possibility of new digital media and appropriable analogue media.
